Slope conflicts across time frames
What to do when the daily demand line and the four-hour channel disagree — without stacking every diagonal you own.
Conflicts are normal. Hierarchy is the remedy.
In construction drills we assign a primary time frame before any ink. Secondary frames may suggest caution, but they do not overwrite the primary line until the primary itself weakens or invalidates on its own closes.
A short protocol
- Name the primary.
- Draw only on that frame first.
- Note secondary conflicts in the margin — do not ink them on the primary sheet.
- Let validation on the primary decide whether secondaries deserve a separate page.
Traders who ink every conflict produce lacework. Lacework feels thorough and behaves like noise.
Mentoring note
If your screenshots show more than three active diagonals on a single pane, bring that pane to mentoring before adding another lesson seat. Density is often the real problem, not missing knowledge.
